Step #1
The first step is to determine the actual shape of your face which many people don’t actually know and some have never even given it a thought!
You could do it this way:
#1 Find time when you have the bathroom all to yourself..Good Luck!
#2 Stand in front of your mirror..realise the mirror is not clean and spend 10 minutes cleaning it.
#3 Rummage around in the bathroom and find a hair tie to pull your hair back. Allow time for the first to 2 ties to break
#4 Using a whiteboard marker draw an outline of your face on the mirror
#5 Clean the mirror again only to discover that you have used permanent marker and will require methylated spirits to remove

A bit more to think about....Like everything in this world Hair & Face shape is about balance and the reason that an oval face tends to be able to accommodate almost any style of cut. The goal with a style for a rounder face shape is to reduce the width of the face. A style to suit a triangle shaped face will aim to reduce the width of your brow line and lastly if your face is more square, then a style that reduces the width of your jawline will make the difference
Best Hairstyles for Round Faces
Layers very much are suited to those with a round shaped face. The angles provided by the layer will accentuate positive facial features and if you think your short length hair can rock a Pixie cut, then spiky layers through the crown will be the bomb! If you have long-length hair, layering from the jawline will give your hair a fuller look and assist in slimming your facial features. Round facial features are flattered by asymmetry to the face if Bangs are your thing chopped bangs that go to your brows are the way to go. Side swept Bangs are also a great option!
In general, people with round faces are flattered with side parts that add asymmetry to the face. If you like to wear bangs, the best bangs for you are wispy and choppy and should hit your brows. Soft, side-sweep bangs are also a “win” for round faces.
Best Hairstyles For A Square Face
Square Face styles are all about the cheek bones as opposed to the jawline!
For medium-length hair, the bob haircut is your friend when it dips below your jawline, along with a side-swept bang that touches your cheekbones. For long-length hair, We would suggest layering into the ends for an airy effect that will act to offset your strong jawline. As discussed above with round faces, softening your square face shape with a side part would be our go to!. If you wear bangs, avoid a solid, squared-off shape. Long, feathery, soft bangs are best for you!
Best Hairstyles For A Triangle Face
If you have a Triangle shape face, the narrowest point is at your chin and jaw so balance is always the goal here. We would recommend styles that are fuller at the bottom. Another style option would also be a Lob, especially if you curl or wave the mid-lengths and ends to create volume. A Sea Salt Spray is a must to get the natural texture that we all want... . Soft, side-sweeping bangs that will also reduce the width of a wider forehead. If you have long hair, we would suggest layers that stop at the cheekbone and jawline to fill out the narrow lower half of your face.
Best Hairstyles For An Oval Face
